As a kid in the 1950s I vividly remember seeing many hot rods and street rods on the road. I was fascinated with them. When I first saw a picture of a PT Cruiser in 2000 it immediately brought back memories of those street rods I saw as a boy. Photos on this page are copyrighted by various photographers. They are used here to illustrate my points and are here for education purposes only.
