Details

The inspiration of the Basset Hound Cruiser came from Don’s recollections of the street rods he remembers when he was a kid. In those days The JC Whitney catalog and others provided the ideas and the items for making any vehicle into a custom ride. In those days stores like Pep Boys and Western Auto were stores that Don frequented. He still remembers the bins full of all sorts of chrome parts and reflectors.
