“Miss Sassy”

Miss Sassy finished her AKC Championship with her 4th major at the Kennel Club of Riverside Show. While Pam has handled bassets for many years this was the first time that she handled one for their final points. In the past Heather or Don did most of the handling and Pam just filled in. One year from the date of her Championship, Miss Sassy became a Grand Champion. In 2013 Don showed her a few times in Best of Breed competition. Miss Sassy was bred to Tradewind’s Coral Reefer February 27 & 28, 2014. She had a litter of five.

At the May 20th GSDBHC Specialty Show Miss Sassy was Select Bitch from the Veteran Bitch Class. For those of you who aren't familiar with dog shows it is an honor for a dog to win the Veteran Class. To go on to win Select is an even greater honor. The judge, Dr. Carolyn Hensley, was astounded at the condition of our veterans and loved Sassy.

She was rather pathetic. 😀
